HI THERE!

I’m Beryl Morgan—an experienced homeschool teacher with a passion for making the humanities come alive for middle and high school students.
I’m a longtime homeschool mom. I taught my own son all the way through high school—he’s now thriving in college. I’ve also taught for years in homeschool co-ops, working with many families and students with diverse learning styles.

Those years taught me what teens really need to thrive: respect, challenge, and a teacher who treats them like the young adults they are.

In my classes, there’s no talking down. We discuss. We question. We debate. I encourage students to share their opinions—even when I disagree—because that’s where real learning happens.   I love weaving art, primary sources, storytelling, and lively discussions into my lessons. I want students to leave class not only knowing what happened in history or how to write an essay, but why it matters.

I love the humanities because they help students think critically, communicate clearly, and understand the world around them. My goal isn’t memorizing facts for a test—it’s helping teens see why these subjects matter All of my classes are designed to be a practical choice for homeschooling families who want both flexibility and academic rigor.
